What is the Split Pdf?

Split PDF extracts specific pages or page ranges from a PDF into a new, smaller file. It is used to pull one chapter from a book, separate an invoice from a batch, or share just the pages someone needs.

It works in your browser with pdf-lib - nothing is uploaded. Enter ranges like 1-3, 5, 8-10 and download a new PDF containing only those pages.

To combine files instead, use Merge PDF. To turn pages into images, use PDF to Images.

How to use the Split Pdf

Drop a PDF onto the upload area or click Choose PDF. The page count is shown once it loads.

In the Pages to extract box, type the pages you want. Use commas for single pages and hyphens for ranges - for example 1-3, 5, 8-10. Leave it blank to keep every page.

Click Extract & Download to save a new PDF with just those pages.

Tip: pages are numbered from 1, and the new file keeps them in ascending order.
